When we had our firstborn, River, we were living in a one bedroom apartment. There was no nursery to decorate & honestly I wouldn’t have had the time to decorate one anyways since he decided to enter the world at 32 weeks (and just 3 days after his baby shower!) Fast forward a few years, and thankfully we are now blessed to own our own home, so our second mini gets a bedroom of his own, which means that this Mama got to go all out with nursery decor!

It’s no secret that when it comes to being a housewife, I don’t always excel. I love to cook, but I dread cleaning and I have never been someone who could see an empty space and just piece together things and make them “work.” This was really a challenge for me, but thanks to Hobby Lobby, Target & hours of time spent on Pinterest (and countless phone calls to my mother in law who has SUCH an eye for this sort of thing). Add in a custom crib built by a good friend, tons of gifts & decor from other family and friends & the nursery was finished!  Our sweet little Dawson Grey is the luckiest little boy & I am so thankful!
