I met up with Melissa + Jamil at yesterday for their engagement session 2.0 at Byrd Park! We got allllll the summery vibes without summer temperatures & it was just simply amazing! They laughed, they snuggled, they went with all of my crazy ideas & we even got photobombed by a deer. Yes, a deer, in a park in Richmond. I KNOW!

You’re probably wondering why I referred to it as their engagement session 2.0… WELL, a month ago, we tried to meet up for their session & the rain forecast quickly went from 30% chance, to 60% all within 30 minutes, and then it went to 100% about 5 pictures into their session. I mean, it was a full on downpour.. raining sideways.. and, even with umbrellas, we got absolutely soaked on the 3 minute walk back to our cars! Thankfully, we all stayed very dry last night & had a blast! We walked all over, found the absolute dreamiest spots (honestly, I couldn’t pick a favorite even if I tried) and I just could not get enough of them giggling at each other!

These two lovebirds are tying the knot next spring & I’m pretty sure I am already counting down the days! So beyond excited to be apart of this time in their lives!
