Savannah + Kyle had the absolute perfect fall fairy tale wedding this past weekend at Bookbinders in RVA. The weather threw a few obstacles (and raindrops!) at them, but they both responded with such grace.

This love story actually starts in kindergarten, where they met and were assigned letters of the alphabet. Savannah was assigned Q and Kyle, U, and they were “married” as Q always needs U by her side. They went to different schools after that year, and as fate would have it, reconnected in high school, and the rest is history. Just being around these two, you can feel the love radiating. He is truly her person, and her his.

In true fairy tale fashion, Savannah’s mom arranged for a horse and carriage to surprise the newlyweds with a ride around downtown the night of their wedding, but due to the aforementioned rain, she was forced to reschedule. (Don’t worry – no one turned back into a pumpkin after midnight!) Naturally, I jumped at the chance to meet them for carriage ride portraits a few days after the wedding & it did NOT disappoint.

Savannah + Kyle, thank you so so much for letting me be a part of the most amazing day. Words cannot express how excited I am for you guys!
