I met Katheryn + Matt the other day in Shenandoah National Park for their Mountain Engagement session, and I would have to say they absolutely killlllled it!

We had originally planned to hike to a mountaintop, but a few days prior, I found out that that part of skyline drive was closed due to icy conditions/damage. We quickly found another hike that would work for us, and then, naturally, when we arrived, the entire trail was ice! Thankfully, these two had been exploring skyline drive all day, mentioned that they had seen somewhere else that may work, and let me just say… it WORKED!

Imagine fields. rolling hills. and mountain views all around, and thats exactly where we were. I absolutely love exploring places that make me feel small, and it was amazing to just be happily behind my camera while these two loved on each other.

To say I am excited for their wedding later this year would be an understatement. Katheryn + Matt, you guys absolutely made all my dreams come true & I am so so thankful that you chose me to photograph such an important time in your lives! The countdown to October is officially on!
