I can’t even believe I am typing this right now, but today my sweet first born is FOUR YEARS OLD! It still feels like yesterday that I was waking up in the middle of the night to feed & snuggle him, but here we are!  He loves to repeat EVERYTHING that has been said to him, talks a mile a minute, & LOVES the outdoors. Puzzles are his favorite (he’s doing 48 pieces by himself these days!) and he’s SUPER excited to start preschool next month! He is one of the funniest kids I know, you just never know what he’s going to say and his memory never ends! He loves to be a “good helper” with his brother & loves “chick-a-leg” (chick-fil-a) and Taco Bell just as much as I do, & of course we sing in the car together on the way!

He has been super into the Toy Story movies lately, although he rarely sits still, but he told us he wanted a Toy Story party and that’s exactly what he got! I partnered up with my mother-in-law & we pulled off the cutest party with all of the Toy Story gang! My labor of love was the balloon arch, which was my first attempt at one, and although I accidentally pulled some paint off of our wall with the command strips (oops!) I think overall it turned out well! My favorite part was probably the “Hamm” Piggy Bank with chocolate coins! River’s was definitely the piñata & the cake of course! Austin & I sported our pizza planet t-shirts while River dressed as Woody and Dawson completed our little family as Buzz! But of course, River got wet playing with the water guns, stripped completely naked outside and ran around for a bit, so then he became Rex! SO thankful for family and friends who came out to celebrate our sweet crazy boy!
